Depending on the class, in-person instruction is held twice weekly on Tuesdays/Thursdays or once a week on Wednesdays.

Science 6 and General Science classes meet Tues & Thurs mornings
6th grade science is a broad spectrum of general science education which covers Life Science, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science.
General science builds on the knowledge your students gained in 6th grade science. 7th and 8th grade students will explore the many fields of science and the scientists who’ve revolutionized them.
Highschool Biology Class meets Tuesday & Thursday mornings.Â
Biology students will study living things, how they work, and what they do. This course covers cell, organelles, history, biochemistry, genetics, ecology, classification, plus creationist and the theory of evolution points of view.
Geology is offered every other year for middle school and high school students 12 and over.Â
Topics covered in this class include rocks and minerals, the water cycle, plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes and more.

Both Herbology 1 & 2 classes meet Tues & Thurs mornings
Open to both Middle School and High School, your student will explore the history, growing, harvesting, preserving, and many uses of plants in our daily lives.
Many in-class projects & monthly take-home herbal kits such as making incense, lotions, salves or syrups. Multiple forms of hands-on experimentation.
This class meets Tues & Thurs afternoons.
Students will study basic anatomy and directional terminology, structure and function of body systems and special senses, and fundamental concepts and principles of body organization, all while having fun!
This highschool level course meets once a week on Wednesday mornings.Â
Physics helps students understand the mechanics and laws of motion in our universe. Topics covered will include kinematics, motion, forces, types of energy, conservation of energy, momentum, light, sound, electricity, and magnetism.
Generally, middle and high school classes have a limited enrollment of 15 students. However, individual science teachers often cap their classes at a much lower enrollment. Please contact teachers individually to inquire about specific classes.
With a hybrid scheduling approach, students meet in the classroom for teacher-led instruction once or twice weekly as determined by their class.
Teachers assign homework that students are required to complete on the other 3 or 4 days of the week. Parents are responsible for ensuring homework is completed and returned to school for the next class.
